SPOXCHANGE stands for Sports Stock Exchange. It is an exchange (Stock Market) very similar to the real stock market where you can trade stocks of your favorite sportsmen.
Is it a simulation?
No, that’s what is unique. Traders buy and sell stocks with virtual money, gain dividends and the demand/supply affect the stock prices. It is a real-time, multi-trader, interactive competition in which users compete to gain maximum dividends and enhance their portfolio.
Do I need to know a lot about sports?
No, you can visit the blogs and read some news to know about the current form of a player and on your hunch decide to buy/sell stocks of players. Past performances and stock performances can be a good indicator to help your make your decisions.

How do I make money?
By using the real market funda of “Buy low, sell high” depending on your hunch. On registration, every user gets 5000 SPX for free. These can be used to buy stocks of players who are expected to perform well depending on your hunch. On a player’s good performance, all users who own the share of that player will get dividends (SPX) which can be further used to trade (buy/sell) stocks. Throughout the trading season, you can trade stocks of sportspersons and maximize your portfolio value. Winners will get attractive prizes.
Do I have to login everyday?
Not necessarily but we would recommend to do so. You can trade as often or as little as you like. You get dividends as long as you own the shares, so you can retain shares for long. You can also save the earned money (through dividends) with you or invest it again to further enhance the portfolio value.
How do dividends work?
Dividends are paid to owners of stock of a sportsman who does well. For cricket, the payout ratio is: 1 SPX for every run and 20 SPX for every wicket with bonus points (SPX) on achieving milestones. Currently, the dividends are paid at the end of the game (asap).
How is this different from betting?
In betting, there are odds defined by the betting exchange while here there are no such things. This doesn’t involve real money and at any time, you can cancel your buy/sell bid. Also, we (the exchange) don’t influence the price of a listed stock. The demand and supply of registered users determines the stock prices.
Is this legal?
SPOXCHANGE allocates virtual money (SPX) to the users and the trading takes place in virtual money which is purely for entertainment purpose. Because it does not involve the user losing any real money, it is completely legal. We, in no form, encourage gambling and the rewards given to winner(s) at the end of the trading season are an 'incentive' for people to participate. tournament f a listed stock. How am I guarded against manipulation?
We have implemented fraud algorithms and have special teams to monitor trading activity. Users attempting manipulation can be issued warnings, imposed fines and/or blacklisted from the exchange depending on the circumstances.
If I put up a buy bid for a stock, will I still get dividends?
You will be allocated dividends when you own the stock after a trade takes place.
If I put up a sell bid for a stock, will I still get dividends?
You will be allocated dividends till you own the stock before a trade takes place.
